Denae Sandoval is an Austin native, deeply rooted in the city’s vibrant culture. Proud of her heritage as a Canary Islander Descendant, Denae’s familial legacy dates back to Texas’s earliest civil governance, with her ancestors establishing the first organized civil government in San Fernando de Béxar, known today as San Antonio, back in 1731.
Denae’s caring nature shines through her thoughtful actions, as seen when she surprised her mother with tickets to see George Strait in Fort Worth, fulfilling one of her mom’s long-standing bucket list goals. Her love for her community is evident in her support of local artists and businesses, often found exploring Georgetown Market Days, craft shows, and vendor markets, seeking unique items that celebrate and uplift the talents of local artisans. Additionally, Denae’s passion for music and community involvement led her to volunteer at ACL, granting her free access to the festival for multiple years and allowing her to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere that defines Austin’s music scene.
