Eric describes himself as funny, honest and loyal. He was born in California, grew up in Dallas, and has called Houston home for 24 years. Most of his family resides in California and his son lives and attends school in Seattle. Eric enjoys sports, traveling, musical theater and loves sci-fi/action shows. As for sports, he is a die-hard Texans fan and has recently jumped on the Astros bandwagon.
A younger Eric wanted to be a gymnastics coach and he fulfilled this dream for 22 years. Now retired from teaching, he is excited to be onto his next career. One of his favorite quotes is “Everything you do today affects tomorrow, but nothing you do today changes yesterday… be all you can be today it’s the only control that you have.” – Fred Kempner (Eric’s High School Gymnastics Coach). When asked what makes Chesmar special he says “Chesmar is special because of the atmosphere it creates. The company strives to create a positive space for employees, vendors, customers and anyone who comes into contact with Chesmar. The “Welcoming” nature is always on display and very much real.”
