Jeff Johnson
Division President - South

Jeff met his wife Lacy when he was in the Army and they have been together 23 years. They have two daughters, Molly & Lindsay, and live down South in League City, Texas.
Away from work, Jeff and Lacy enjoy visiting Molly at LSU and cheering on Lindsay at her Clear Creek HS sporting events. Jeff grew up in the small town of Maryville, Missouri, and played sports in high school for the famous Maryville Spoofhounds. His passion for homebuilding stemmed from his first framing job & right away he knew he wanted to be in the industry. Jeff is a 1996 graduate of West Point, spent 5 years leading soldiers, and was a Captain in the US Army when he decided to pursue his homebuilding career. He spent 17 years at a large public homebuilder and left a Regional VP position in order to come join Chesmar Homes.
When asked what makes Chesmar special Jeff says, “This is a special place for me because of the unique and extraordinary people who believe we can be better than the rest not just by WHAT we do, but by HOW we do it. What makes Chesmar special for me is getting a chance to make a difference every day alongside the industry’s very best leaders as we build dream homes for our neighbors.”
