Kelsey describes herself as genuine, loyal, and intuitive. Her son Gibson is the light of her life. They live in an old farmhouse that was built in the late 1800s and one pet, a fish named “Christmas”. Kelsey was born and raised along Alabama’s gulf coast, so she loves anything and everything to do with bodies of water. She enjoys fishing, shrimping, boating, tubing, swimming, and so on! She also loves volunteering and giving back to the community, whether it’s participating in a Habitat for Humanity build or handing out coats to kids in need. No matter where her path in life takes her, she will always be an artist and a performer. She grew up singing with her family’s band and has many fond memories of performing for audiences across the country.
Her favorite quote is “Some people are going to reject you, simply because you shine too bright for them. And that’s okay. Keep shining!” When asked what makes Chesmar special she said “Thankfully at Chesmar, we are encouraged to be ourselves. Our different personalities are celebrated—And we’re not all forced to fit into the same mould.”
