Stephanie describes herself as detailed, organized, and empathetic. As a Native Houstonian, she was excited at the opportunity to move to Austin. She has been married to her best friend John, for over two decades. They had one date, moved in together that weekend and have been together since! He has worked with Porsche for years and is part of Porsche of Austin’s team. Stephanie and John have two amazing children that are their entire lives; daughter Taylor who attended TAMU, and son, Steven, attends college in Austin. Their ‘fur’ children are two rescues, as Stephanie is very adamant about “adopt, don’t shop!” Jack is a King Charles Spaniel Mix and Abby, aka “Bunny girl” is a Wire-haired Dachshund mix.
Weather fascinates Stephanie. Her family and friends have nicknamed her the “weather girl,” as she’s always checking and reporting anything severe, especially during the Harvey event. Stephanie’s hobbies and hangouts are anything that involves her family. Away from work, she’s typically spending time with them, mostly outdoors when the weather is accommodating. Her passion is always about doing the right thing and treating people how she’d want to be treated, even if its’ not reciprocated.
A few of Stephanie’s favorite quotes are, “do unto others have you would have them do unto you.” Being from Houston, there is a painted sign much like Austin’s “Keep Austin Weird,” that says “Be Someone.” It was a Houston staple, especially during Harvey. A self-created quote that she uses a lot is, “help me, help you, help us.”
